Fall cleanup
Long Island's oaks and maples drop a lot of leaves, and a thick layer left on the lawn all winter smothers grass and breeds snow mold. Our fall cleanups run from late October into December, usually as one or two visits depending on when your trees finish dropping.
- Leaves cleared from lawn, beds and hard surfaces
- Perennials cut back
- Beds cleaned out
- Gutters at ground level and window wells cleared
- Final mow of the season
- Everything hauled away
Spring cleanup
Spring cleanup gets the property ready for the season: clearing winter debris and the leaves that blew in, raking out matted grass, cutting back what's left of last year's perennials and grasses, and defining bed edges. It's the perfect time to mulch right after.
- Winter debris, sticks and leaves cleared
- Lawn raked to lift matted grass
- Ornamental grasses and perennials cut back
- Beds cleaned and re-edged
